Chicken Toofani Recipe

Chicken Toofani Recipe


  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish
  • Vegetable oil for cooking
  • Salt to taste

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté onions for 2 minutes.
  2. Add ginger, garlic and green chilies. Sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add chicken pieces. Sprinkle spices and salt. Sauté 4-5 minutes until browned.
  4. Add tomatoes and lemon juice. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add garam masala, Masapices Chicken Toofani Masala and stir well.
  6. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  7. Garnish with cilantro. Serve with rice or naan.
