Kashmiri Briyani

METHOD (1) Wash the rice and soak for 20 minutes. (2) Boil rice in big utensil add 2 tsp salt in water. see that rice is just half done and keep aside. (3) Marinate chicken in ginger-garlic & green chilly paste, 1 full packet MA’SPICES KASHMIRI BIRYANI MASALA and curd, mix well. (4) Put brown onion in blender and make paste. mix it in chicken marinated. (5) Take a large thick bottomed pot, place 1/2 cup of oil at bottom place a layer of rice on that put a layer of chicken mixture after that place the layer of remaining rice. Now spread over 1 cup milk and 1 cup oil on that. (6) Cover the lid tight and put weight on lid cook for 40-45 minutes on slow flame. now MA’SPICES KASHMIRI BIRYANI is ready. Serve hot with onion slices and sweet curd.

INGREDIENTS: (ALL IN POWDER FORM) RED-CHILLIES, CORIENDER-SEEDS, CUMIN-SEEDS, FENNEL-SEEDS, SALT, BLACK-PEPPER, SHAH-JEERU, GREEN-CHILLIES, TURMERIC, DRY-MANGO, BAY-LEAVES, STAR-ANISE, FENUGREEK SEEDS, CLOVES, CASSIA, DRY-GARLIC, DRY-GINGER, DRY-MANGO, DRY-CURRY LEAVES, BAY-LEAVES, GREEN CARDAMOM.
